A lot of UK businesses are taking advantage of the faster broadband speeds that are becoming widespread across the nation.
The availability of a Fibre broadband connection is more common than ever. However, a lot of these fibre connections are still delivered over an analogue phone line. Therefore, the delivery of that service will be affected when BT decide to ‘switch off’ all the analogue and digital telephone lines in the UK. Therein, lies the problem.
Now, if your business has fibre to the premises installed (FTTP), you don’t need to read any further (although it would be nice). However, if you have fibre to the cabinet installed (FTTC) and you haven’t upgraded to a new style SoGea circuit, we need to talk. A move to SoGea is not going to improve your speed but it will futureproof your internet connection.
What is the worst case-scenario? You do nothing and then BT disconnect your broadband. You’re endangering your business as you could effectively be without broadband for weeks. Why take that chance?
Let’s have a conversation to ensure you’re up to date. And what that, we can also discuss your telephony set up. What have you got to lose?
